Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 7:30pm to 10pm (University of Ottawa campus – Montpetit 202)
Join FTOÉ for a screening of the acclaimed film “The People and the Olive” (summary below). The night will include olive oil sampling, courtesy of Ten Thousand Villages and Zatoun (makers of Fair Trade Palestinian olive oil), as well as a panel discussion after the film screening.
“An inspiring documentary about the daily joys and struggles of Palestinian fair trade farmers and the American ultra-marathoners who ran across the West Bank planting olive trees and bridging cultures along the way.”
View the official website for more information about the film.
The event will take place in room 202 of Montpetit Hall on the University of Ottawa campus.
